  Managing an autonomous robot team is a very challenging experience which is compounded by the fact that there are many cutting edge problems that have to be solved and implemented in real time by a team of students that have varying backgrounds, skill, and origins. Being a member of such a team is alsoa very valuable educational experience for the students for both learning theoretical concepts and acquiring practical skills. This paper describes the international Cerberus team experience in the Sony four-legged league.
