A Study on the Promotion of e-Trade in Korean Small and Medium Enterprises

&nbsp;&nbsp;본 연구에서는 국내 및 국제적으로 진행되고 있는 전자무역의 흐름을 살펴보고 중소기업의 전자무역활용현황을 살펴보았다. 그리고 이를 바탕으로 향후 정부, 무역유관기관 및 중소기업 등의 전자무역 확대 방안을 모색해 보았다.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;첫째, 정부는 전자무역 확대를 위해 법ㆍ제도 등을 국제기준에 맞도록 지속적으로 개정ㆍ보완하고 무역유관기관 등의 업무를 적극 장려하며, 전자무역 구현을 위한 인프라를 완벽히 갖출 수 있도록 지원을 아끼지 말아야 한다.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;둘째, 무역유관기관은 전자무역 솔루션과 툴을 개발, 공급하고 전자무역 전문인력 양성을 위해 꾸준히 노력해야 한다.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;셋째, 무역업을 영위하는 기업 특히, 재원, 자금, 기술력 등 모든 환경에서 열악한 중소기업은 전 세계가 개방된 무한경쟁에서 생존하기 위하여 저비용, 고효율의 전자무역 활용을 적극 모색해야 한다.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;전자무역은 최신 IT기술을 활용하여 무역 프로세스와 구조자체를 근본적으로 혁신하는 것으로 우리기업의 무역경쟁력을 획기적으로 강화시킬 뿐만 아니라, 홍콩, 싱가폴에 버금가는 동북아 경제허브(Hub)로 도약할 수 있는 기반을 마련하는 중요한 수단이 될 것이다.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;전자무역을 신속하고 효과적으로 추진하기 위해서는 민관이 함께 지혜를 모아 종합적인 청사진 및 효율적 추진체계를 마련하는 것이 필요하며, 이를 바탕으로 기업과 정부가 세부전략과제를 시급히 실행해야 할 것이다.

&nbsp;&nbsp;This study is aimed to research into the plans busting e-Trade to activate the international trade of small and medium sized foreign e-Trade, and into the present situation of e-Trade utilized by small and medium enterprises. Based on the results, the present author researched the plans to activate e-trades by the government, trade-related organizations, and small and medium enterprises and listed them in the following.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;First, the government should continually revise and amend relevant laws in accordance with the international level so as to activate e-Trade, positively encourage the activities of trade-related organizations, and provide every support to construct the infrastructure for e-Trade.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Second, trade-related organizations should develop and distribute e-Trade solutions and tools and steadily make efforts to train e-Trade professionals.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Third, Trading companies, especially small and medium enterprises that have poor financial and technological resources, should positively consider using low-cost and high-efficient e-trades in order to survive infinite competitions in this all-open world.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;e-Trade is to fundamentally innovate the process and structure of trades through employing up-to-date IT technologies. It will help remarkably strengthen the trade competitiveness of Korea and play and important role in allowing Korea to become the hug in Northeast Asia that is vying with Hong Kong and Singapore.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;To effectively implement the development of e-Trade, it is necessary for civilians and the government to gather their wisdom and come up with a comprehensive blueprint and an effective system to promote the trades and for the government and civil corporations to implement the appropriate detailed strategies.
