한국 교육혁신 공과에 대한 사적(史的) 분석

&nbsp;&nbsp;The purpose of this study is to analyse the merits and demerits of Korean educational innovations which range from 8.15 National Liberation to today. The results of this study is as follows;<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;In the period of America Military Administration. American Military Government reformed Korean education according to American interests. The Military Government decided that South Korea be the shield which stops the expansion of the Soviet Union&quot;s communist power in Asia. So the military Government employed every man who could help their purpose and speak English regardless of pro-Japanese. Besides the Military Government transplanted American education on Korean vacant educational field deliberately. This educational policy resulted in the lack of educational justice.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;In the period of the first Republic, the educational innovation was planned by our own government. They achieved the task of compulsory education for the elementary school which is the basis of Korean democracy in the future.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;In the period of the Second Republic, the plan of the educational innovation was made but could not be put to practice because of the 5.16 coupdetat.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;In the period of the third and fourth Republic. The educational innovation was actively progressed by the enactment of the National Charter of Education and the spirits of New Community Movement. However the color of the innovation faded by the dictatorship.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;In the period of the fifth Republic, the government prohibited all the out of school studies compulsively, This policy distorted educational conscience and justice.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;In the period of the sixth Republic, the direction of educational innovations was focused on the contents and methods of education rather than on the system and management of education. these kinds of innovations helped Korea become the advanced country.
