지역이벤트의 지역경제 파급효과

Economic Impact Analysis of Regional Event

&nbsp;&nbsp;지역이벤트가 지역 차원에서 경제에 대한 기여도가 높은 산업의 하나라고 인식되면서 지역발전의 수단으로 주목되어 왔지만, 우리나라의 경우 지역 이벤트의 경제적 효과에 대한 객관적인 분석은 많지 않다. 또한 경제적 효과를 추정한 일부 연구에서도 분석에 사용된 방법이나 추정 절차가 분명하지 않거나 자의적으로 추정한 경우도 있어, 분석결과의 신뢰성에 의문이 제기되는 경우도 있다.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;이 연구는 한국의 대표적인 축제를 사례로 경제적 파급효과를 분석하였는데, 제시된 분석절차는 총량적인 파급효과만 제시하는 Keynes의 승수효과 분석에 비해 지역의 다양한 산업간 경제파급효과를 제시할 수 있어 보다 유용한 정보를 제공할 수 있다. 또한 이 연구에서 사용한 방법은 별도의 관광위성계정을 만들지 않고 기존의 지역투입산출모형을 활용할 수 있도록 함으로서 보다 절약적인 분석방법이 될 수 있을 것이다.

&nbsp;&nbsp;Even though more than 1,000 regional events are opened every year in Korea since 1995, there are not many scientific studies of the economic impact of these events in this country. This article deals with the method and case study of the economic impact of a regional event focused on &quot;Andong Mask Dance Festival&quot; in Korea.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;As this approach gives us more information than other approaches, the method introduced in this study is more efficient than other approaches like the Keynesian multiplier method. The Keynesian method gives only aggregate effects, but this approach gives inter-industry effects too. Moreover this approach does not need to make TSA (tourism satellite accounts), but uses a given RIO (regional input-output) model.
