전북지역노동시장의 구조와 특징에 대한 연구

A Study on the Regional Labor Market of Chonbuk Province

  전북지역의 낙후된 경제와 낮은 경쟁력의 원인을 지역의 노동시장에서 그 원인을 찾아보고 전북지역경제의 발전에 도움을 줄 수 있는 정책적 대안을 제시해보고자 하는 연구이다. 이를 위해 지역노동시장의 구조를 인구 및 고용, 임금과 노동생산성, 노동조합과 노사관계등의 관점에서 분석하고 노동시장의 동학적인 모습을 이해하기 위하여 일자리결합함수를 추정해본다. 특히, 인구의 지속적인 유출 및 낮은 노동생산성 등이 지역경제의 전반적인 경쟁력과 갖는 관계를 논의하고, 분석결과를 바탕으로 지역경제발전에 도움을 줄 수 있는 정책적 대안을 모색해본다.

  This paper aims to look at the aggregate regional labor market in Chonbuk province. We compare the several aspects of the regional labor market with those of national aggregate labor market. Chonbuk province is characterized by net flow-out of population, high raio of agricultural sector employment, high ratio of non-wage workers and self-employed workers and low wages. Employing an endogenous growth model, we show that decreasing population caused net flow-out of population could reduce economic growth of this region.
