The purpose of this study is to examine the contents and method of sex education and teachers" and mothers" perception of problems in practicing them in early childhood education institutes and home.<BR> Kindergartens and daycare centers in Gyeonggi Province were selected. The data consisted of 154 teachers and 293 mothers.<BR> The research instrument was modified from a questionnaire adout teachers" and mothers" perception of early childhood sex education and the data was analyzed by frequency, percentage, and Crosstab with SPSS WIN 12.0 version program. Crosstab was analyzed for the comparison of teachers" and mothers" perception of early childhood sex education.<BR> The major Findings are follows:<BR> First, Mothers" perception of the necessity of early childhood sex education was higer than teachers". Second, Regarding the practice of early childhood sex education in early childhood xducation institutes and home, there is a statistically meaningful difference in teachers" and mothers" practices. Thild, concerning the necessity of the xducation of teachers" and mothers" for the instruction of early childhood sex xducation, both teachers" and mothers" perceived it.
