일본의 전자상거래의 현황과 문제점에 관한 연구

A Study on Current Status and Issues of e-Commerce in Japan

&nbsp;&nbsp;Although Japan has the best economic environment, infrastructure and technological capabilities, utilization of e-commerce was not active due to her rigidly closed mind on informatization. As such, Japan&quot;s preparedness on e-business is shown as low albeit her advanced country status.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Japanese market in 2004 on BtoB was Yen 102,669 billion and BtoC was Yen 5,643 billion. Mobile commerce was Yen 971 billion and CtoC market was Yen 784 billion in the same year. This represents 33% growth on BtoB and 28% growth on BtoC over the previous year. This paper deals with current status and characteristics of Japanese BtoB and BtoC markets, and also its issues and future prospects.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;The purpose of this paper is to contribute to understanding the Japanese environment and status in international electronic commerce in the future.
