In this paper, an examination will be made of how and why real wages changed differently in the OECD countries during the past thirty years. Three models will be estimated. The first will concentrate on the effect the unemployment has on real wages. The second will examine how real wages move relative to labor productivity. The third will examine the effect of other factors such as labor force participation rates and inflation rates on he real wages.   The paper will attempt to find out why real wage changes have different among the selected OECD countries.
