Up to now, this treatise looked upon the function of the ellipsis in the ending of Si-Jo in viewpoint of the relation of the receptor and the polysemy created by the ellipsis of same type in elements of a sentence . The result follows as;<BR> 1. There is one function that the hearer/reader completes the text. In this function, the hearer/reader complete the text with the polysemy created by the ellipsis of same type in the element of a sentence. The elements of a sentence are sentence unit below, stem unit below, pre-final ending unit below, and final ending unit below.<BR> 2. There is another function that extend the classes of the singer. In this function, the classes of the singer will extend to four classes--very high class, high class, low class, ang very low class. The reason that four classes are extended as the singer is on the polysemy created by the ellipsis of same type in elements of a sentence.<BR> 3. There is the other function that make the excitement of receptors to very high state in the performance space of Si-Jo. This function come from the previous two functions. One function is that the hearer/reader completes the text. Another function is that a class of the singer is extended to become the four classes of the singer. The receptors included in this function are character, poetic speaker, poectic hearer(/reader), and singer.<BR> These functions do not act in the text that have not the polysemy created by the ellipsis in the ending of Si-Jo, but act in the text that have the polysemy created by the ellipsis in the ending of Si-Jo. On these functions, we can conclude that Si-Jo was a kind of the performance literature, and becomed to have many receptors.
