경영관리능력과 품질경영수준 간의 관계에 관한 연구

The Assessment of Quality Management Success as a Function of Business Administrative Ability

  본 연구에서는 실증적 연구를 통해서 품질경영수준과 기업 내 경영진의 인격 및 경영철학, 경영권의 안정성, 위기관리능력 등으로 정의되는 경영관리능력 간에 어떠한 관계가 있는지를 살펴보았다. 두 변수 간의 관계를 분석하기 위해 제시된 3개의 가설은 42개의 기업을 대상으로 조사를 실시하였다. 기업경영관리능력은 신용평가 기관에 의한 평가 결과를 활용하였으며 품질경영수준은 한국표준협회에서 개발한 경영품질지수(MQI: Management Quality Index)를 변형하여 설문을 통해 측정하였다. 이를 통한 가설 검증 결과 최고경영자의 인격이나 경영철학이 품질경영수준에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났으며, 경영권의 안정성 또한 품질경영수준에 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 이와 같은 결과로 비추어 볼 때 품질경영수준은 경영관리능력과 밀접한 관계를 갖고 있는 것을 알 수 있었다.

  The purpose of this study was to find out the correlation between business administrative ability and the success of quality management. To test the hypotheses, the data about business administrative ability and quality management index of 42 companies were reviewed and analyzed. As a result of the testing hypotheses, first, it was found that top managers" personality or management philosophy affects success of quality management. Second, stability of management also influences success of quality management. Finally, It was concluded that success of quality management is closely correlated with the business administrative ability.
