&nbsp;&nbsp;이 글은 이데올로기론에 따라 교육이념의 변천과정을 분석하고자 한다. 분석된 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 한국 교육이념은 민족주의와 민주주의를 중심으로 발전주의가 결합되어 나타난다. 둘째, 한국 교육이념은 지배 이데올로기와 밀접하게 연관되어 있으며 저항 이데올로기의 영향력이 점차 커지고 있다. 셋째, 교육이념의 이데올로기적 활용방법은 변화하고 있다. 우선 이데올로기적 활용은 부정적 왜곡형태로부터 긍정적 통합의 가치로 변화하고 있다. 다음으로는 교육이념의 단순화로부터 복잡화로의 변화이다. 마지막으로, 민족주의와 민주주의 교육이념의 결합과 분리의 과정이다.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;이상의 결론을 토대로 앞으로의 교육이념 설정을 위한 시사점을 제시하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 민족주의와 민주주의 교육이념의 중요성과 ‘지속가능한 발전주의’의 중요성이다. 둘째, 민족주의와 민주주의는 시대적 과제에 따라 새로운 교육이념으로 제시되어야 한다. 교육이념은 한국적 특수성 속에서 민주주의의 보편적 가치를 추구하는 ‘한국적 민주주의’의 교육이념이 되어야 할 것이다.

&nbsp;&nbsp;The purpose of this study is to analyze education idea according to ideology. The change of education idea is in relation to political and social change because education idea is affected by political idea.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;The results of this study are as follow :<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;First, Democracy and Nationalism education idea with developmentalism had played an important roles in Korea education idea. Hongikingan(devotion to the welfare of mankind) is stipulated in the text as a comprehensive education idea, and its specific education idea is Democracy and Nationalism.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Second, There has been very close connection between Korean education idea and ruling ideology ; progressivism and American Army area·First Republic, National Charter for education, the October Renovation and the Third·Fourth Republic, Creation of the modernization of fatherland and Fifth Republic, Neo-liberalism in the 1990&quot;s.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Third, Korean education idea has changed from negative value to positive one.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Therefore, Several suggestions are designed for as follow: the importance of democracy and nationalism with developmentalism as education ideas, new transformation of democracy and nationalism as education ideas in 21th century, combination between Korean particular value and universal value in pursuing education ideas in new era.
