A Study on the Effect of the Characteristic in Information System Management of an Organization on a Decision-Making Product

&nbsp;&nbsp;The objective of this study was to offer directives for helping management augment the reliability of the information offered by the management information system that influences business operation, and for companies to make decisions suited to each organization by positively analyzing the influence of the managerial features of the information system of each organization on decision-making. For achieving the objective of the study, the conclusion and suggestions deduced from the results of the study include the following.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;First, companies can obtain greater performance from decision-making only when elevating the dispersion degree for the information system. Second, it would be more desirable for companies or organization to conduct total insourcing or selective insourcing rather than total outsourcing. Third, the dependency, maturity, investment level, and dispersion degree of the information system management&nbsp;&nbsp;were proven closely coupled with the performance of decision-making. Accordingly, it is necessary to utilize the information system in all organizations and fields under recognition of the importance of the information system when undertaking duties, and to make investment in many more information systems.
