&nbsp;&nbsp;기업을 둘러 싼 환경은 매우 빠르게 변화하고 있고, 때문에 많은 기업들이 생존하기 위해서 기존의 리더십과는 구분되는 새로운 리더십을 필요로 한다. 이는 국가적인 차원에서도 마찬가지이다.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;카리스마적 리더십에 대한 연구에 있어서 막스 베버의 카리스마적 리더십에 대한 연구는 많은 공헌을 했다. 관료제를 통해 그가 제시한 카리스마적 권한은 많은 학자들의 연구에서 결정적인 근거가 됐다. 새로운 접근과 관점의 리더십들은 ‘신리더십’, ‘네 번째 리더십’, ‘대체이론’ 등으로 불리고 있다. 이 새로운 흐름은 카리스마적 리더십, 변혁적 리더십 등을 포함한다.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;‘카리스마’는 특정한 개인에게 일정한 미덕을 적용시키는데 이는 초자연적인, 초인간적인, 최소한 특별한 예외적인 권력을 의미한다. 이는 보편적인 평범한 사람들에게는 없는 특성으로서 타인들에게 강력한 영향력을 행사할 수 있는 근거가 된다. 때문에 카리스마적 리더는 조직에 새로운 생명력을 불어넣는 것과 같은 중요한 전략적 변화를 이끌어 내는 능력을 보유한 사람으로 간주된다.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;따라서 본 연구는 리더십에 대한 연구, 그 중에서도 위기상황에서 가장 각광받고 있는 카리스마적 리더십에 대한 연구를 정리해 보고 혼돈의 시기에 필요한 리더상을 정립하고자 했다.

These new approaches include charismatic theory, transformational theory, substitute for leadership and attribution theory.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;The term &quot;charisma&quot; will be applied to a certain quality of an individual personality by virtue of which he is considered extraordinary and treated as endowed with supernatural, superhuman or at least specifically exceptional powers of qualities. These are such as not to be accessible to the ordinary person, but are regarded as of divine origin or as exemplary and on the basis of them the individual concerned is treated as a &quot;leader&quot;. Leadership is defined as influencing others to do what the leader wants them to do. a charismatic leader is a person who has the ability to take an organization through a major strategic change such as revitalization.
