Study for literary style of Jung Chae-bong fairy tale

&nbsp;&nbsp;Jung Chae-bong went on the platform by a bouquet in 1973, DongA newspaper and wrote 11 volumes of fairy tale, 7 volumes of thinking fairy tale and 11 volumes of poet and essay. He opened the new genre adult fairy tale and expanded the fairy tale to grown up and he was the first Korean fairy tale writer who brought the French fairy tale Oseam and German fairy tale Bird from water.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Jung Chae-bong was talented in using words. So this study analyzed his fairy tale literary style by targeting his 106 short fairy tales and 2 of middle？long fairy tales and adapted Bally expression stylistics and Spitzer original stylistics. We approached by using psychological way and statistical way by linguistic expression data analyzation. As a basic step for analyzing his literary style we looked writer&quot;s life and literary likeness. As a result, his likeness were ‘nature of hometown’, ‘respecting life’ and ‘seeking soul’.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;We looked his literary style in linguistic expression character, narrative character, organization character and the follow is summary. In linguistic expression character, there are metaphorical expression such as nature friendship, beautiful Korean words, expression of basic childhood, showing childhood monologue, expressing fantastic mood by describe, visual sense. In narrative character, he selected telling way in colloquial style to give children real and friendly. And in the middle or last part of fairy tale, he quote the song or poem to effect the implication and flexibility of story. At last, he made it easy to generalize by using character&quot;s name in pronoun, and natures in objective standard. In organization character, he heightened reader&quot;s expectation elasticity in tension and immersion through suspension style, and wanted to show writer&quot;s recognition and will about manner and worth of life in recurrence organization. There are more main character&quot;s complication in fairy tale that is caused by character inside than outside facts. And he putted the blank beauty by handling the last part simply.
