초등학교 시조 교재의 구성과 지도 방안 연구

A Study on Composition of the Teaching Materials on Korean Verse in Elementary School and the Instruction Plan

&nbsp;&nbsp;Educating Korean verse (sijo) that embraces the unique sentiment, experience and value of Korean has a great implication. However, in the Seventh Korean Language Education Program, the sijo education has not really been made at all. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to research and present the composition of sijo unit, selection and organization of sijo text, and the teaching materials for sijo in the teaching and learning plan for the facilitation of the sijo education that had been neglected in the Seventh Korean Language Education Program.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;In Chapter Ⅱ, the value as the teaching materials on characteristics of sijo and the Korean language has been learned on the basis of theoretical basis.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;In Chapter Ⅲ, it took a look at the reality, composition of sijo unit and arrangement of sijo text, contents of sijo learning and connectivity of sijo from the time of Japanese Colonial Ruling to the Seventh Korean Language Education Program. There has not been a time when the sijo unit was missed in the Korean language textbook from the time of Japanese Colonial Ruling to the Sixth Korean Language Education Program. However, in the Seventh Korean Language Education Program, there is almost no information on the sijo education at all. The textbooks for Korean language do not have any sijo unit, and there are only 8 sets of the listed sijo, and the sijo learning time and the element of the contents of sijo learning are minimal at best.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;In Chapter Ⅳ, as a plan to facilitate the sijo education, the composition of sijo unit, selection and organization of sijo text are studied and presented. For a method of unit composition, this study came up with the plan for the adding the teaching materials for sijo or contents of sijo learning to the unit for learning material listed on the textbook for Korean language to recomposing the unit and the plan to compose the independent unit only with the teaching materials for sijo. The sijo text to be on the textbook for Korean language has to be selected to meet the development level of the students, element of education course for Korean language, contents of literature education and others, and when organizing the sijo text, the emphasis is on considering the ‘principle of continuity’, the ‘principle of system’, the ‘principle of integrity’, and the ‘principle of advancement’.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;In Chapter Ⅴ, the efficient ways for teaching materials for learning of sijo, the direction of learning and teaching, the appreciation, reading and writing to apply in reality of learning are sought and presented.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;The following is the conclusion drawn from the above research process.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;First, in order to succeed and develop the national folk literature, sijo, the teaching materials for sijo have to be broadly accommodated within the education course of the Korean language.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Second, the sijo education has to be provided throughout entire classes in the elementary school. In the lower grades, the interest for students is stimulated through the repeated words, imitating words, seeking of interesting expression, reading and other learning activities, and in the middle school and on; the contents of the sijo education with the consideration of level of grades have to be presented in detail on the textbook.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Third, the number of sijo to list on the textbooks has to be extended, and the sijo works to be listed have to be selected by considering the development level of the students, element of education course for Korean language, contents of literature education and others.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Forth, for appreciating, reading and writing of teaching materials for sijo, various strategies are formulated and applied to have the continuing interests for students.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;This study has presented the composition of sijo unit, selection and organization of sijo text, and the teaching mate
