A Study on the Impact of e-Logistics Capabilities on the Logistics Performance of Companies

&nbsp;&nbsp;With the development of information technology, the adoption of IT to logistics management is increasing. IT can provide speedy logistics management and increase flexibility in logistics service. Although several studies in introduction and utilization of information technology in logistics management have been undertaken, researches on the exact impact of e-logistics on logistics activities are limited.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;This paper aims to investigate the relationship between the utilization of e-logistics and business performance by conducting questionnaire survey on manufacturing companies. The study finds out that the degree of e-logistics utilization has close relation with operational and strategic performance of business. Therefore, it is necessary for companies to strengthen their e-logistics capabilities to be more competitive in changeable business environments.
