중학교 미술과 교육에서 시각문화 텍스트 활용 수업설계 방안 - 사진 텍스트 분석을 중심으로

The Instructional Design Applied to Visual Culture Text in Secondary Art Education -Focused on Photo Text Analysis

  본 연구는 학생들의 삶에 지대한 영향을 미치고 있는 시각문화를 중학교 미술과 교육에서 적극적으로 활용할 수 있도록 하기 위하여, 시각문화 텍스트 분석을 통한 수업설계방안을 탐색하는데 목적이 있다. 연구내용으로는 첫째, 시각문화와 미술교육, 중학교 미술과 교육에서 시각문화로서 사진을 수용해야할 당위성 제시를 위해서, 중학생들의 인지적, 미적 발달단계 특성, 사진에 대한 인식 변화와 시각적 텍스트로서 사진에 대하여 문헌을 통하여 고찰하였다. 둘째, 중학교 미술과 교육에서 시각문화로서 사진 텍스트 활용을 위한 학습영역과 학습내용을 분석하였다. 셋째, 시각문화로서 사진 텍스트의 분석 틀을 구체화하고, 그에 따라 중학교 2학년 미술과 시각문화 텍스트 활용을 위한 수업설계안을 제시하였다. 그러나, 본 연구에서 제시하는 사진 텍스트 분석에 따른 수업설계방안은 일예로서 의의를 두며, 향후 실제로 학교현장에서 수행할 수 있는 수업을 설계ㆍ적용하고 재구성할 수 있는 연구가 이루어져야 할 것이다.

  The purpose of this study is to establish a model to analyze a visual culture text and, on this ground, design instruction and search for a method to implement the instruction actually in order to accept visual culture greatly affecting students" life in secondary art education. For this purpose, first, literature review was conducted in terms of visual culture and art education, characteristics of developmental stages for middle school students, changes in perception of photos, and photos as a visual culture text and suggestion was made for the need to accept visual culture in secondary art education. Next, learning domains and contents were analyzed to accept visual culture in secondary art education. Finally, an analysis model for a photo text as visual culture in secondary art education was made concrete; on this basis, instructional design practice was presented for photo text analysis in eighth-graders" art education. Through such a teaching-learning process, learners will develop a critical thinking ability to assess a text of visual culture close to their life objectively and cope actively with it.
