A narrative approach to the establishment of Beeam-temple

&nbsp;&nbsp;Beeam-temple was established soon after the ruin of Baekjae dynasty. An Budda&quot;s statue was discovered there and the content about manufacture was written. Also Beeam-temple has a snake&quot;s legend. Analyzing the legend, we can know the story of the temple. This study purposes to analyse both documentary materials and oral materials, and to investigate the background about the establishment of Beeam-temple. The results are the followings.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;1. Beeam-temple was established by Baekjae remainders after Baekjae&quot; ruin<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;2. They established the temple for Baekjae&quot;s king, subject, parent and people.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;3. Powerful local family and existent people established it together.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;4. An snake&quot;s legend expressed the existent people&quot;s concerns, The words of Budda&quot;s statue expressed the powerful local family&quot;s concerns.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;5. A legend of Beeam-temple connected the break-down of the temple with the destruction of a holy place.
