대학생의 노동경험과 직업선택의 관련성 연구

A Study on the Relationships between Work Experience and Career Choice of College Students

&nbsp;&nbsp;본 연구는 대졸 청년층의 심각한 취업난과, 산업계의 경력중시형의 채용방식에 적응하고자 대학생들이 졸업 후의 직업선택에 도움이 되는 분야에서 노동경험(work experience)을 쌓고 있는 추세가 점점 증가하고 있는 상황에서, 재학 중의 노동경험이 졸업 후의 직업선택과 어떤 관련성을 갖는지 분석해 보았다. 그 결과, 첫째 대학생들의 노동경험의 동기와 노동경험의 유형은 유의적인 차이, 즉 상호관련성이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 대학생들은 아르바이트 기회의 제한 등의 이유로 현실만족형의 노동경험 동기에서 판매ㆍ서비스나 단순 업무와 관련된 비전문적인 분야를 주로 경험하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 재학 중의 노동경험 유형은 졸업 후의 직업선택(직종)과 관련성이 있는 것으로 나타난 바, 대학생들에게 미래의 경력형성과 진로설계를 위한 충분한 사회경험의 기회를 제공할 필요성이 제기되고 있다. 그리고 본 연구는 1개 대학교의 재학생과 제한된 졸업생을 대상으로 분석한 결과로서 일반화의 한계점을 지니고 있는 바, 해석에 주의가 요망되며 추후 연구 시에는 표본을 보다 확대할 필요가 있다.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;결론적으로 대학생들이 미래의 경력발전과 직업세계로의 원활한 진입을 할 수 있도록 대학의 전공교육과 연계된 보다 전문적인 경력추구형의 노동경험의 동기와 기회가 제공될 필요가 있으며, 이를 위해서는 대학과 정책당국의 적극적인 진로교육과 직업지도가 요청된다.

&nbsp;&nbsp;The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationships between work experience and career choice of college students in the context of high unemployment rate in the youth.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;To achieve the purpose, I have examined the theoretical background about motivation theory and career choice theory. And then I made the empirical study.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;The results of analysis revealed as follows.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;First, the motive of work experience and work experience type of college students have significant relationships.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Second, in-college work experience type has influence on career choice after graduation.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Third, it could be established the educational-industrial supporting system as like career counseling and supplying job information, a seminary for employment and program for vocational ethics etc. to improve working ability of college students.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;In conclusion, it needs more active measures for future career development and smooth entrance into the job world of college students.
