Aspects and Meaning of Connection betweenActual-worlds and Imagination-worlds in the 〈Geumosinhwa(金鰲新話)〉

  This paper discusses aspects and meaning of connection between the actual worlds which are the real and human worlds and imagination worlds which are the other worlds such as heaven, underworld, lunar world, etc. in the <Geumo sinwha(金鰲新話)>. These narratives have common structure and similar characters. Men mets women and fell in love with women who came from the other worlds and they parted from their lovers because of the will of fate or the rules of the universe. The ghost and nymph(仙女) in that narratives who were restored to the one"s original states after tragic death. This imaginative meeting and love between the departed and the living make us reflect and reconsider our lives and this existence.
