Generally, we can classify the dialects of Saudi Arabia, according to their regional features, into Hijaz, Najdi and Sharqi. This paper aims at studying on Hijaz modern Arabic dialect of Saudi Arabia and the effective method of learning it, which is spoken in Taif, Jeddah and Mecca and Medina. Hijaz dialect is not pure saudi dialect because this dialect reflects linguistic features of other dialects due to geographical closeness, especially Jordanian, Palestinian and Egyptian dialects. Unfortunately, the researcher came to know through several field surveys that Arabian linguists take not much in the dialect studies. This is why Koran, the Bible of Islam, plays an important part in their speech and behaviour. At the same time, the researcher came to know that they also speak in their dialects despite indifference for dialect studies.<BR> The first & second chapters emphasized the importance of and Saudi Arabia and survey and method of Hijaz dialect. The third chapter, as a subject of this study, presented the linguistic features of Hijaz Dialect in the aspects of the phonological system, system of word-form and syntactic system.
