Assuming the comprehensive and specific duties of public security, police substations are direct performers and a very foundation in the entire public security system. As an intelligence collection channel and applicator, a police substation information center is an information collection and application platform particularly constructed for public security management. The establishment of the information center facilitates the integrated collection and application of intelligence and confirms the centers’ position as a primary platform for intelligence-based police service strategies, thus enhancing public security organs’ ability of scientific policy making, punishment execution and related practice guidance.
Abstract<BR>1. Information centers under police substations serve as a foundation for intelligence-based strategy<BR>2. The major bottleneck of intelligence-based police strategy is an improper deviation to technology<BR>3. To address the problems in carrying out the intelligence-based police service strategy, we must look for more solutions besides technology<BR>4. Improving public security organs’ researching ability is a key step to carry forward the intelligence-based strategy<BR>
