Activating Trade of Fishery Products by Comparison Analysis on Exports and Imports Based on Korea-China and Korea-Russia

&nbsp;&nbsp;This study is designed to make an analysis of the export and import structure and the export competitiveness of China and Russia with which Korea had a trade deficit within Northeast Asia, to find the problems with Korea&quot;s Fishery-product trade with these nations and to suggest measures to activate Korea&quot;s trade with China and Russia.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;So as to make an analysis of the competitiveness of Fishery products, the researcher made use of RCA, TSI, CAC and RMI. The survey shows that compared with China, Korea has 0307.49 kinds of Fishery products with comparative advantage. The survey also suggest that compared with Russia, Korea has 0303.50 kinds and 2106.90 kinds of Fishery products with comparative advantage.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;On the other hand, it is absolutely necessary that Korea should make a selection of new high-value-added marine products and strategic products by region to compete with China and that Korea should secure trade line with thorough hygiene control of Fishery products and competent marketing ability to compete with Russia, as a means of activating a trade of Fishery products.
