학습부진아동의 학습기술 향상을 위한 독서요법 프로그램 개발

The Development of a Bibliotherapy Program for Enhancing Learning Skills of Learning Underachievement Children

  최근 학습부진아동의 학습 문제를 도와주기 위한 방법으로 학습기술이라는 인지적 측면과 정서적 측면을 함께 다룰 수 있는 통합적 프로그램 개발의 필요성이 제기되었다. 이 연구의 목적은 학습부진아동의 학습기술을 향상시킬 수 있는 통합적인 독서요법 프로그램을 개발하는 데 있다. 우선 선행연구 고찰과 경험적 탐색을 통해 프로그램의 구성요소를 도출했으며, 체계적 상담프로그램 개발 모형에 따라 독서요법 프로그램을 구안하였다. 구안된 프로그램은 10회기의 상호작용적 독서요법 집단상담 프로그램과 42개의 반응적 독서자료로 구성됐다. 구안된 프로그램을 학습부진아동들에게 실시한 결과 실험집단의 학습기술이 통제집단에 비해 유의하게 향상되었다. 이 연구는 학습기술이라는 인지적 문제를 상담의 관점에서 바라보고 인지적 문제와 정서적 문제를 통합할 수 있는 상담 프로그램을 개발했다는 점에서 그 의미가 있다.

  In order to help learning underachievement children solve academic related problems, the necessity was recently suggested to develop a integrative program involving both cognitive and emotive aspects. The purpose of this study was to develop a bibliotherapy program systematically for enhancing learning skills of learning underachivement children and to validate the program. The process of this study was as follows: First, after reviewing the literature and exploring the experiences of teachers, the factors of the program were extracted. And then bibliotherapy program was constructed through the systematic counseling program development model. Lastly, the program was corrected based on professionals" consultation. The constructed program was consisted of 10 interactional bibliotherapy group counseling program sessions and 42 responsive reading materials. The results of administering the constructed program to identified 20 learning underachievement children showed that the learning skills of experimental group were improved significantly comparing with the control group. The meaning of this study can be found in that developed program for learning underachivement children integrated cognitive and emotive aspects using reading materials.
