〈延烏郞 細烏女〉 說話의 構造와 意味에 따른 指導方案 硏究

The Study of the Teaching Methodology According to the Structure and the Meaning of the Fable, "Yeonorang and Seonye"

&nbsp;&nbsp;The fable, 〈Yoenorang and Seonye〉 is the myth of the Sun and the Moon. Because the periodic and the geographic backgrounds are very well known and the main characters are connected with the movements of the Sun and the Moon. This fables is the only myth about the Sun and the Moon in the Korean literature, but it is rarely studied in the teaching methodology. So this study tries to analyze the structure and the meaning of this fable, and suggest the proper teaching methodology to the characteristic of the myth.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;In chapter Ⅱ, the paragraphs in this fable are arranged according to the time sequences. This fable has a spiral structure by repeating the deficiency and its elimination two times.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;The first deficiency is the situation that the common husband and wife are separated by the absolute power. This is solved by the wife&quot;s rejoining the husband in Japan. The second deficiency is the situation that the absence of Yoenorang and Seonye made the Sun light and the Moon light disappeared in Silla. It is also solved by the religious procedure with the holly robes to Silla.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;In chapter Ⅲ, this fable is inquired into the relations between the meaning as the sun-and-moon myth and the important motive, the religious procedure. And I found out the meaning of &quot;Nippon(Japan)&quot; and the relations between its meaning and Japanese myths.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;The fable, 〈Yoenorang and Seonye〉 is the story that the common persons, Yoenorang and Seonye are sublimated into the spirits of the Sun and the Moon and they helped to get over the national chaos. This means that the religious belief in the sun and the moon is reflected in this fable as a myth. Nippon(Japan) where Yoenorang and Seonye are rejoined and settled down can be explained where the spirits of the sun and the moon are settled. Their absence made the darkness in Silla at day and at night, and the silk holly robes which Seonye wove got the lights back to Silla. This means they were in very holly place and never got back to Silla.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Considering the Japanese birth myth, they have the common thing that the woman is symbolized as the Spirit of the Sun. The myths of Silla and Japan are related each other, but it&quot;s hard to say that they are directly related each other.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;The religious procedure for the Spirits of the Sun and the Moon is the important solution in this fable, 〈Yoenorang and Seonye〉. The place where this story happened has a long history of the religious belief in the Sun and the Moon. And we can guess that in this place many religious procedures have been happened to worship for the heaven, the Sun and the Moon. In this fable, the solar eclipse symbolized uneasiness political situation, and the religious procedure with holly robes is the efforts to overcome the national chaos.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;In chapter Ⅳ, the fable, 〈Yoenorang and Seonye〉 is considered for the educational values and Teaching methodology is suggested to supplement the problems of the current educational curriculums. Teaching the myth aims to promote the children&quot;s imaginations. The lesson plans are consisted of the ventilation for the imaginations, the imagination configurations, the imagination extension and the imagination settlement from the characteristics of the myths. In the step of the imagination configurations, teachers should explain the historic, geographic and folkloristic backgrounds to the children. These teacher&quot;s role guide them to promote and enlarge their imaginations to understand the myth better.
