The purposes of this research are as follows: first, to summarize my thesis about the specialty focused Korean instruction, and the second, to establish the presupposition and direction of Korean teacher specialty in elementary grammar instruction.<BR> Therefore, in chapter 2, I"ve introduced Lim et al.(2006) which is the foundation of my model, that is, "the hypothetical manual of grammar instruction evaluation". In doing so, the purport of National Education Department could be understood. In chapter 3, I"ve derived the issues which researchers should be digging into. The chapter 4 has contained some arguments which the professional Korean teacher have in mind in elementary grammar class. Finally, in chapter 5, I"ve discussed the features of the elementary grammar instruction by arguing the possibility of existence of grammar teacher. This will show some considerations in this kind of researches.
