대구지역 고령친화 주택산업의 여건과 활성화전략

Promotion Strategies for the Senior Housing Industry in Daegu City

  본 연구는 대구지역의 고령친화 주택산업의 활성화 전략을 제시한다. 대구는 광역시급 이상의 도시 중 부산에 이어 두 번째로 고령 인구비율이 높고 고령화 진행 속도 또한 빠르다. 이에 고령화 시대에 맞는 지역산업정책을 마련하는 것이 필요하다. 이러한 배경에서 본 연구는 특히 고령친화 주택산업을 분석대상으로 하였다. 먼저 대구시의 고령화 지수를 통해 고령친화 주택산업의 수요기반을 파악하고, 공급역량을 진단하였다. 분석결과, 대구지역의 고령친화 주택산업은 실비 임대형 고령자 주택과 주택개조 분야에 비교우위가 있는 것으로 평가되었다. 고령친화 주택 산업활성화를 위해서는 주택 체험관, 시니어타운 등의 건설과 정보제공, 지원 등의 정책이 필요하다는 점을 강조했다.

Daegu city is the second highest among metropolitan cities in Korea in the portion of senior citizens compared to the whole city population. and the pace with which the aging proceeds is also remarkably fast. Therefore we need a regional industry policy to accommodate the trend.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;This study evaluates the potential demand for the senior housing in Daegu, along with the potential supply ability. Our analysis shows that construction of rental housing for elders and house remodelling sector have comparative advantages. The paper also suggests senior-friendly policies such as construction of senior housing experience exhibition. senior town and information provision for elders.
