고등학교급 영재교육기관의 교육과정의 비교 및 발전방안

The comparison and reform of curriculum of the high school for the gifted

  이 연구의 목적은 고등학교급 영재교육기관인 한국과학영재학교와 과학고등학교의 교육과정을 비교분석하여 발전방안을 모색하는 것이다. 영재를 위한 교육과정을 고찰하기 위해, 먼저 문헌연구로서 국내ㆍ외 영재교육과정에 대한 이론적, 경험적 연구를 살펴보았다. 미국의 영재교육과정에 대한 25년간의 연구사와 주요한 이론적 배경을 살펴보았으며, 국내의 영재교육과정에 대한 문헌연구를 하였다. 그리고 국내의 영재교육과정에 대해 보다 자세히 살펴보기 위하여, 한국교육개발원의 영재교육연구원의 영재교육과정에 대한 그동안의 연구결과물을 분석하였다. 마지막으로, 한국과학영재학교와 서울과학고등학교의 교육과정을 비교분석하고 영재교육의 질적 제고를 위한 행정적ㆍ제도적 개선방안과 교육과정의 충실한 실행 및 운영방안을 제시하였다.

  The purpose of this study was to analyze the curriculum for the gifted between Korean Science Academy and Science Highschool, and to imply the developmental way. To explore the curriculum the gifted, first of all, the domestic and foreign literature was reviewed. The history and main theories of curriculum for the gifted in the U.S.A. for the 25 years were reviewed. And the domestic curriculum for the gifted was reviewed. And then, to find the domestic curriculum for the gifted in detail, the outcomes of The Gifted Education Center of The Korean Education Development Institute were analyzed. Finally, to compare the curriculum for the gifted between Korean Science Academy(KSA) and Science Highschool, to improve the curriculum for the gifted in the highschool, a reform of the administrative structucture, the developmental way and the implemental way were provided.
