A Comparative Research on the Basic Bodice Patterns in Draping and Flat Using the 3-Dimension Technology

&nbsp;&nbsp;Many of the apparel business and fashion educational institutes in land adopt fashion shows employing fashion models. Draping is effective tool rather than flat pattern making in the majority of the complicated design works for the fashion shows. However for the different features between the dress form and the fitting model, problems occur.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;This study was performed to provide fundamental data on difference between the dress form and fitting models in flat and draping bodice pattern with three-dimensional clothing air volume and two-dimensional bodice pattern analysis. There are difference between flat and draping bodice pattern in shoulder length, shoulder angle, armhole and from bust circumference to waist circumference in back bodice pattern.
