Analysis of Jersey Fabric Trend Expressed in 2007-2008 Fashion Collection

  The purpose of this study was to analyze of jersey fabrics trend expressed in the latest fashion collection. For this research, the fashion magazine, Don-a TV, internet sites were used as references. For a long time, jersey fabrics were used as under garment fabrics. In the early twentieth century, jersey fabrics were used to materials as outer wear for females and sports wear fabrics. Chanel was known to made coats for females using jersey fabrics. On the other hand, spring and summer fashion trend of 2007 showed slim look over all. It is possible by using jersey fabrics not bulky. Fashion items were one-piece, skirt, leggings, T-shirts using jersey fabrics. Fashion trend of this fall and winter was forecast of 1920"s fashion style.
