  Hwang bong-ryong"s play is included in the genre of melodrama. But there are many differences in the typical melodrama"s composition. There are critical senses of the reality and artistic answer in his plays. Hwang bong-ryong"s play treat the social problem, social stratum trouble and try to find a solution with the view of city-country"s people.
