A Study on Promoting Power of Port-Logistics Industry through Regional Innovation System -The Focus of Busan Area-

&nbsp;&nbsp;The purpose is to promote power of Port-logistics industry through RIS(regional innovation system) in Busan. RIS has been highlighted as one of the new industrial development strategies in a knowledge-based economy. It can be understood that the RIS is related to the concepts of innovation systems, industrial clusters and networks, which contribute to the development of regional industries by boosting innovations.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;This study is very significant in that it suggests ways of growing Busan area into the Port-logistics industry and relating the hub with logistics industry within the port.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;The research results of this paper are summarized as follows:<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;In view of hardware, we have to expand and improve the facilities of container terminal, hinterland, transport route. In view of software, it was necessary to strategies of port logistics clusterization and must to train an expert in port logistics.
