A Comparative Analysis on the Utilization of Third Party Logistics between Korea and China

  Though logistics industries of Korea and China are still less developed compared to those of advanced countries, they are making fast growth recently. One of the most important factors which contributed to the development of international logistics in Korea and China is ever-growing international trade volume between two countries. Thus Third Party Logistics(TPL) industries in Korea and China are growing under the same background. In this context, this study made comparative analysis on the utilization of TPL service in Korea and China based on the brief review on the prior research. In addition, this study provided several suggestions to activate the TPL services in Korea and China from the perspectives of TPL service providers, shippers, and government respectively.
