여성 수형자의 자녀와의 관계 강화를 위한 교정복지의 방향

&nbsp;&nbsp;최근 남녀 간의 경제적 격차가 해소되면서 이와 비례하여 여성 범죄가 증가하는 추세를 보이고 있다. 그러나 전체 범죄 중에서 여성 범죄가 차지하는 비율이 낮다보니 그동안 여성 범죄는 주목을 받지 못하였다. 분명 남성과는 다른 특성을 가졌음에도 불구하고 남성과 동일한 대상으로 여겨졌으며 여성 수형자 자신은 물론 그 가족 간의 문제 역시 관심 밖의 대상이었다.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;그러나 교정복지적 측면에서 여성이 교정시설에 수용된다는 것은 여성 수형자 자신의 문제일 뿐 아니라 그 가족의 문제이기도 하다. 구금되어 있는 동안 여성 수형자들은 남성 수형자들보다 자녀 문제로 심리적으로 더 고통을 겪고 있으며 자녀들 또한 아버지의 구금보다는 어머니의 구금으로 인한 충격이 더 크기 때문이다.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;여성 수형자의 가족관계의 중요성과 가족 중에서도 여성 수형자의 가장 큰 관심사가 자녀라는 점을 고려한다면 앞으로의 교정복지는 여성 수형자의 자녀와의 관계 강화를 위한 방향으로 나가야 할 것으로 본다.

&nbsp;&nbsp;Lately, by reducing a gap of economy between men and women, it shows that women&quot;s crime is increasing. But because the rate of women&quot;s crime occupied a little, women&quot;s crime was not paid attention to people. Even though women have a different trait to men obviously, women prisoner was considered same with men prisoner. Also women prisoner and their family&quot;s problem was not considered seriously.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;But as a correction welfare aspect, commiting women prisoner, it is that women prisoner&quot;s problem and it contains their family&quot;s. While they are commited to prison, women prisoner is more painful than men prisoner seriously by their children&quot;s problem. And also their children is more shocked to their mother&quot;s commit than fathers&quot;.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;If we consider that women prisoner&quot;s family problem is important and their most interest part is children&quot;s problem, we have to advance to improve relationship between women prisoner and their children.
