경제사회학적 관점에서의 경제적 행동 논의

An Economic Sociological Perspectives to Economic Action

&nbsp;&nbsp;본 연구는 최근 등장한 경제사회학적 관점에서 바라본 경제적 행동에 대한 이론적 논거이다. 경제적 행동은 시장에서 이루어지는 가장 기본적인 단위로서 경제현상을 설명하는 첫 번째 단계이다. 그럼에도 불구하고 경제적 행동에 관한 핵심내용에 있어서 많은 논의 다툼이 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 논의다툼을 이론적으로 정리하고, 경제사회학적 관점에서 경제적 행동을 규명하는데 목적을 두고 있다.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;본 연구는 주류경제학인 신고전적 경제학에서 바라보는 경제적 행동에 관한 정의로부터 시작한다. 그러나 본 연구에서 이 관점은 경제적 행동은 사회적 행동의 한 형태이며, 사회적 관계에 배태되고, 제도라는 사회적 구축물에 의하여 영향을 받는다는 경제사회학적관점에서 비판된다. 따라서 본 연구는 경제적 행동이 사회적 의미에 의하여 결정된다는 것을 이론적으로 규명하는 것이다. 즉 경제적 행동은 긴밀한 관계의 네트웍 및 집단의 상호작용으로부터 나타난 메카니즘에 의하여 탐지 및 강제되고, 공유된 신념과 규범에 의하여 결정적인 영향을 받는다는 것이다.

&nbsp;&nbsp;In this paper, I attempt to assess what has become known as &quot;New Economic Sociology since the mid-1980s. The point of departure of this type of topic was Mark Granovetter&quot;s &quot;Economic Action and Social Structure : The Problem of Embeddedness. New Ecomic Sociology has especially drawn on three topics : economic institution, network, and social construction.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;This paper argues that neo-classical economy cannot provide a persuasive account of economic institutions, and suggests a broder foundation based on classical sociological argument about social relations and socially oriented goals and structures. Such an argument is posed as the dintinctive agenda for a new economic sociology.
