『古芸堂筆記』 연구 - 신발견 자료의 내용을 중심으로

A study on Yu Dukgong’s Goundang Pilgi － Examine of newly found versions －

&nbsp;&nbsp;본고는 「고운당필기」의 여러 이본을 소개한 선행 연구에 이어서, 새로 발견된 자료의 내용을 대상으로 한 연구다. 본고에서 검토한 신발견 자료는 모두 『고운당필기』 집필 초기에 쓰인 것이다. 『고운당필기』는 備忘記 성격의 저작이다. 여기에서 다른 전문적인 저작으로 나아갔다. 따라서 『고운당필기』는 유득공 저작의 가장 중심적 위치에 있는 것이다.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;본고는 신자료의 내용을 일곱 가지 영역으로 분류하고, 그 가운데 현실, 풍속, 언어, 역사, 교유의 다섯 가지 항목에 대해서 구체적으로 검토했다. 『고운당필기』 기술의 특징으로 지적할 것은, 사실의 객관적 서술이었다. 사실 그 자체에 대한 치밀하고 냉정한 기술을 통해서 이념을 배제하고 현실의 이면을 파악하고자 한 것, 그것이 유득공의 저술 태도였다. 그것은 淸朝 고증학자들의 저술 태도에 연결될 수 있다. 유득공은 18세기 후반 조선에 있어서 고증학, 특히 명물고증학에서 탁월한 업적을 이룩한 학자고, 『고운당필기』는 그의 높은 학문적 수준을 잘 보여주는 결과물이다.

&nbsp;&nbsp;Following the former studying about introducing several other versions, this thesis is studying about newly found materials. The newly found materials examined in this thesis were written in the early stages of Goundang Pilgi(『古芸堂筆記』), which had the character of memorandum book and moved on special parts. So Goundang Pilgi is the most important parts in his writings.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;This thesis classified the materials into seven parts and concretely examined five parts, actuality customs language history and companionship.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;The distinctive features of Goundang Pilgi are the objective description about facts, that is, apprehending of another parts of reality through precise and cool expression excluding an ideology. This methods about description might be linked those of Chung dynasty. Yu Dukgong(柳得恭) has established an eminent achievement in the methodology of historical research, especially in the part of the name of objects and Goundang Pilgi shows his high level of scholarship.
