The Analysis of Speaking Activity in the Korean Textbook. Dongnam Journal of Korean language & Literature 24. Recently, Korean language learners have been increasing year by year in Korean universities. This brought about the diversity of level, purpose and contents of learning, and agitates for developing new textbooks. A lot of Korean textbooks by various authors and institutions are published and an there are many studies about the desirable textbooks and compilation of appropriate textbooks for Korean as a foreign language. An effective textbook provides crucial teaching and learning materials as well as methods for evaluating what was taught. In this study, we will consider about the speaking activities of Korean textbook which are used Korean education center and language education institutions of universities in Busan. It is based on questionnaires surveys on 12 Korean teachers who is teaching Korean in 4 Korean language education center and language institutions of universities in Busan. A questionnai consisted of items of a main textbook, auxiliary textbook and necessity of teaching materials for Korean speaking lessons. The result onthe analysis of the questionnaire survey should help the development of Korean textbook for Korean speaking lessons.
