대학수능시험 성적이 임금에 미치는 효과 분석

The Effect of Test Score of Preliminary Exam for College Entrance on Income

  본 논문은 KLIPS 자료를 이용하여 대학수능시험성적이 임금에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 본 연구의 실증분석 결과는 외국의 선행연구들과 유사한 결과를 보여주고 있다. 수능시험 성적은 임금 결정에 매우 중요한 결정을 하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 4년제 대학 이상을 졸업한 그룹에서 그 효과는 매우 컸다. 4년제 대학 이상을 졸업한 그룹에선 수능시험 표준편차가 1단위 증가함에 따라 임금은 평균적으로 7.26% 증가하는 것으로 나타났다.

  In this paper, the effect of test score on income is examined. Test score is used the test score of preliminary exam for college entrance in KLPIS. The results are very similar with the previous studies. The test score plays also very crucial role in determining income in Korea like other advanced countries. In particular, the effect is remarkable for worker with schooling higher than 4-year college. For this worker, the one unit increase in standard error of the test score raises income by 7.26%.
