A Study on the Collaboration Model for Implementation of e-B/L between Korea and China

&nbsp;&nbsp;Recently the interest and requirement of e-B/L, which is core factor of electronic payment in international trade, have been rapidly increasing. However, there is not standardized and commercialized e-B/L system even though some shipping firms provide internet-based B/L system. In this regard, this study focuses on the basic approach for adoption and diffusion of e-B/L. In particular, this paper would try to consider e-B/L collaboration model between Korea and China be-cause China is our first trading partner.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Major findings of this paper are that it needs legal and systematic support rather than technical possibility to maximize the performance of e-trade through the introduction of e-B/L between Korea and China. And it is essential to construct the registering system of e-B/L and to use uTradehub which is developing. Moreover, the way to use uTradehub for e-B/L distribution between Korea and China is to share and connect model as a valid alternative. Therefore, active policy measure for implementing e-B/L system and continuous joint research on this issues between Korea and China are required.
