  The color-words are the important part of the culture and the language for every nation. It has a speacial language functions and the symbol meaning in the culture. The color-words are the reflection of the nations’special meaning for colors and the cultural traditions. This article is about the color-words. On the basic of objective meaning of the phrase metaphor, this article analyzes the cultural symbol meaning and the differences for the color-words in Chinese and English. And this article aims in offering some ideas and examples for the researches of the Chinese-English compairing-liguistics. This article is also advantaged in the cultural multi-communications and it will seek for more relationships in this communicated forms. And in this way, this article could show the necessary of the multi-cultural idea in the teaching of Chinese as a Second Language.
