A Study on the Characteristics of Papers which have been Contributed to the Journal of the Korean Cadastral Society

&nbsp;&nbsp;본 연구는 금년으로 창립 30주년을 맞이한 한국지적학회의 과거와 현재를 조명하는 일고찰로서 그간 한국지적학회가 30회에 걸쳐 발간한 한국지적학회지의 게재논문에 대한 특성을 분석ㆍ평가하고, 이를 토대로 학회지의 위상제고를 위한 발전방향을 제언하려는데 그 주된 목적이 있다. 연구목적의 효율적 달성을 위하여, 본 연구는 학회지가 창간되었던 1977년 11월부터 최근 제22권 제1호가 발간된 2006년 6월까지의 학회지 게재논문의 실태에 대한 자체분석과 연구대상에 있어 유사성을 지니는 관련 학회지와의 비교분석 및 평가를 연구범위로 한정하였으며, 그러한 실태분석을 행함에 있어서는 문헌 및 인터넷조사에 의한 사례분석과 기술적(記述的) 분석방법을 동원하였다.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;연구결과, 우리 한국지적학회는 학회지를 통한 연구활동에 있어서 게재논문의 양적ㆍ질적 수준이 한국학술진흥재단의 등재학술지를 보유한 여하의 학회에 견주어 다소 뒤처지는 것으로 분석되었고, 이러한 원인을 야기하게 된 주된 이유는 학회의 학회지 연구활동을 위한 제반여건이 열악한 실정에 있기 때문인 것으로 파악되었다.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;따라서 본 연구는 이러한 불리한 환경을 극복하고, 보다 발전적인 학회의 연구활동을 모색하는 방책으로서 (1) 학회회원의 저변확대 (2) 다방면의 학술대회 및 국제교류활동을 통한 학회지 게재논문 수준의 극대화 (3) 독립된 학회사무실 확보 (4) 한국학술진흥재단의 적극적인 연구사업 후원 유도 등의 필요성을 제언하였다.

&nbsp;&nbsp;The objective of this study is to examine some problems by analyzing the characteristics of papers which have been contributed to Journal of the Korean Cadastral Society and then to suggest an improved plan for a raise of the condition of the Korean Society of Cadastre. In order to achieving this goals. we had intended to limit a period of time from 1977 up to 2006 and analyzed the papers of the time. The descriptive method was tried for this study. And also we referred to sundry records and used datum or information in internet web-sites.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;After studying, we recognized that the Journal of the Korean Cadastral Society is lagging behind as compared with others because it stands at a disadvantage.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;To improve these problems, we suggested several plans; (ⅰ) extending a scholars (ⅱ) seeking to optimize standards of level of papers by holding science lecture meetings and international scientific conferences (ⅲ) possessing of independent office for the Society (ⅳ) encouraging the wholehearted cooperation and support from the Korea Research Foundation.
