중학생의 학교생활적응과 학업동기와의 관계

Relationship between School-Related Adjustments and Academic Motivation of Middle School Students

  중학생의 학교생활적응과 학업동기 간에는 어떠한 관계가 있는지 본 연구를 통하여 분석 하였다. 본 연구를 위하여 경기도와 서울에 소재한 남녀공학 중학교 2개교에 재학 중인 1학년 학생 224명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 성별에 따른 학교생활적응에는 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 성별에 따른 학업동기는 학업동기 총점과 자율동기에서만 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 학교생활적응과 학업동기간 관계를 살펴본 결과 친구관계적응과 무동기, 친구관계적응과 학업동기총점을 제외한 모든관계 간에 상관이 있었으며, 특히 무동기와는 부적상관이었다. 또한 성별에 따라 상관분석한 결과, 남학생의 경우 전체적인 상관분석과 같이 친구관계적응과 무동기, 친구관계적응과 학업동기총점을 제외한 모든 관계 간에 상관이 있었으며, 특히 무동기와는 부적상관이었다. 그러나 여학생의 경우 친구관계적응과 자율동기, 학교생활적응 총점과 자율동기간의 관계는 정적상관이었으며, 교사관계적응과 무동기, 학교생활적응 총점과 무동기간의 관계는 통계적으로 유의한 부적상관이 나타났다.

&nbsp;&nbsp;The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between schoolrelated adjustments and academic motivation of middle school students. For this purpose, the data were collected by questionnaire form 224 middle school students living in Gyeonggi-do and Seoul. Statistical methods for the data analysis were t-test, Person&quot;s correlations and Cronbach&quot;α test by SPSS.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;The results of this study can be summarized as follows. First, the school-related adjustments was not a significant difference according to sex. Second, as a result of comparing and analyzing the difference based on the sex in terms of academic motivation, autonomous motivation was a significant difference according to sex. Third, there was founded positive correlations between school-related adjustments and autonomous motivation, and positive correlations between school-related adjustments and social motivation. But there was founded negative correlations between school-related adjustments and autonomous motivation.
