운허의 생애와 불교사상 소고 - 불교의 경학 방면을 중심으로

A Study on the Wun-Her’s Thought and his Life

&nbsp;&nbsp;This is the first thesis ever written about Ven. Wun-Her (耘虛, 1892-1980) as a scholar. Thus, I suppose 4 objective studies and expression of Wun-Her’s thought, thus inspiring confidence in 10 side in general his pas?da.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;However, I go to the exam his Buddhism philosophy through 10 sides is then repeated result of analysis as follow.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Firstly, the Wun-Her’s idea of using language and letter in Buddhism Sutra. Even though his language and letter are not truth itself, the material of these approached to truth world and ensures that Buddha’s word dwells on the meaning of Korean through his translate enthusiasm.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Secondly, his towards to the pedigree of Korean Buddhism. Basically he is regarded whit the Zen sect of Buddhism as Korean Buddhism pedigree. But among the Zen Buddhism monks, there are study Sutra according to their ability. There is the very man who is Wun-Her. His value is denoted by Sutra that is known as Hua-Yen schola.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Thirdly, his ideas in nevertheless and existing Buddha. He is primarily the faith Buddha and the ‘Buddha’ referred to the world by itself whit salvation human and guidance as various type of Buddha’s truth.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Fortly, it is his idea of truth world. As the same of traditional Hua-Yen philosopher, he has the realm of Buddhism. Thus he is remarkable explained the realm influnced by wisdom of vij?aptiphilosophy.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Fifthly, it is his practical method who expressed their own observation to their body and mind. Through simply keep going to practical of his practice way, anyone can grasp their nature. The notion of practice, here, is not birth or hide, but of something the though of purifies and the heart. Developing towards these guides to a better way of living is experience various compassion inspired by their wisdom.
