유아의 공간능력 증진을 위한 이론적 고찰

The consideration for a spatial ability enhancement of the young children

&nbsp;&nbsp;본 연구는 공간능력이 공간을 인식하는 과정에서 비롯되어짐과 유아들의 주변세계를 이해하고 이에 걸 맞는 행동양식을 익혀가는 과정으로서 공간능력을 보다 포괄적으로 생각해보는데 목적이 있다. 이에 따라 공간인식의 변화과정을 철학적 관점들의 변화과정을 통해 알아보았다. 또한 공간능력이 다양한 능력과 형태를 지님으로서 통합적 접근이 가능하다는 연구에 비해 그 내용을 살펴본 연구가 미흡하여 교육의 다양한 분야에서 공간능력이 지니는 의미를 살펴봄으로써 통합적 접근의 근거를 마련하고자 하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;첫째, 철학적 관점의 변화를 통해 살펴보면 공간능력은 개념적 공간에 대한 이해뿐 아니라 감각적, 사회적, 공간적 행동, 사회문화적 공간에 대한 광범위한 개념이다.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;둘째, 공간능력은 동작, 수학, 조형, 언어, 지리, 과학 등 각 분야와 긴밀하게 연관되어 있다. 일상생활, 다양한 영역활동을 통해 통합적 접근이 요구된다.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;결론적으로 유아들의 공간능력을 유아들이 주변세계를 이해하고 그에 적절한 개념을 형성하고 행동할 수 있도록 포괄적인 접근 방식이 필요하며 일상생활을 통한 통합적 접근을 통해 공간적 소양을 기르도록 해야 한다.

&nbsp;&nbsp;The Purpose of this study is to look into the change of philosophical viewpoint about the spatial awareness to search the concept spatial ability.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;And spatial ability in curriculum studied.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;The result is followed.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;First, The spatial ability is comprehensive concept about the sensible, subjective, concept and actual space, and which must be understood in social-cultual basis. Second, The spatial ability is related closely with a movement, math, art, language, map, and science.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Consequently we must cast off from the thing which the approach about the spatial ability is the concept and treat the spatial ability with sensible, actual, and adequate behavior in physical space. And we enhancement spatial ability grounding through a consideration approach of the everyday life.
