A Study on the Aesthetic Value of Traditional Women"s Ornament in Joseon

&nbsp;&nbsp;Ornament means small things that we have on or around the body and something we put or hang on the clothes for decoration and all other small pieces for the purpose of decoration.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;These ornaments have changed through the ages according to the living conditions reflected such as its policy, economy, society, religion and art of that period.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;In this study surveyed various social, cultural facts on Women&quot;s aesthetic sense or the formation of aesthethic sense through the female ornament in Joseon. The women beauty of Joseon does include the beauty set in man-oriented culture and its subordination but can not rule their expression of aesthetic desire- their internal desire.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Though the design and material of the ornament contain wishes of the community and confucian ideas but women in Joseon expressed their internal liberation through various kinds of ornamnet.
