&nbsp;&nbsp;The instinct of pursuing beauty has been widely spread all over the world for a long time, and some of the primitive expressions to satisfy the instincts of pursuing beauty have been the style of dresses, cosmetics, and hair beauty, etc.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Among various beauty cultures, hair design has also been one of cultural products, which reflect the living cultural and art style of an age, and is now considered from the viewpoint of total fashion, harmonizing it with dresses, cosmetics, and accessories, etc. Because hairstyle is the most visible part on a human body, changes in hairstyle can damage or improve one&quot;s own original impression.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;The purpose of this research was to apply different hair design techniques according to the features of face shapes, and to prepare a basic frame which can be applied to practical hair design businesses. This purpose was based on the fact that the theoretical, systemic and academic background of hair design is unstable compared to the growth of practical hair design businesses, though there have been brilliant technical developments reflecting new foreign technologies and fashions after having introduced western cultures.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Under the hypothesis that the real value of hair designs are revealed only when a different cutting technique is applied for each face shape, this research was done to prepare persuasive modeling techniques based on design factors and principles such as in other modeling fields.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;For successive research, several works and their pictures were made after differently applying general design factors and principles to real modes whose face features are different from each other.
