A Study of New Generation’s Culture: Triming a Appearance

&nbsp;&nbsp;This research used new audience theory of cultural studies which is used for communication study and studied active meaning-construction process and its resistance pleasure.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;This study saw new generation as independent subjects not passive victims and how triming a appearance has been different meanings in their life. And what pleasure is made and how the way of resistance made constructed in the regulation of trimming a appearance<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;The results of this study are as follows.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;First, Because each man has different position in life, They have different way of triming a appearance reception and meaning-construction.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Second, it shows the breaking of dominant meaning of trimming a appearance through the subject&quot;s oppositional decoding.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Third, many of new generation enjoy triming appearances consumption and the main reason for the pleasure is they choose by themselves.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Fourth, the rule of society about appearance shows the possibility of resistance in many ways.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Fifth, through the oppositional consumption way of trimming a appearance, it shows trimming a appearance culture as an alternative culture. Recent trimming a appearance shows not only tipical aesthetic consciousness but also a genre of &quot;Avant-Garde Art&quot; reflecting various aesthetics.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;From all the results, the mass of new generations are not unlearned and incapacity. they are the subject of their new generation and they signify new generation voluntarily. Now we must use making a appearance no more the target of conquer and a way of communication for image-making in a political speech.
