The goal of this study is to grasp college women"s preference for hair style, and then to grasp the difference of self-efficacy according to their preference, and to grasp the difference of self-efficacy according to their preference for colored hair style. The objects of survey were 240 college women who are in colleges located in Kyungnam Province, and the returned questionnaires were 226 copies, and any questionnaire among them that includes mistake or misses even a question were excluded, and then the final 203 questionnaires were used for analysis. The questionnaire consisted of general questions, questions about their preference for hair style after seeing 6 photos and questions about self-efficacy feeling scale.<BR> This study used SPSS WIN8.0 PROGRAM in analyzing data.<BR> In order to organize scales, factor analysis and quesrion analysis were executed, and reliability was examined by internal consistency. Frequency and percentage were sought for grasping preference for hair style, and the analysis on mean, standard deviation and one-way ANOVA was executed. The result of this study is as follows. In addition, the most favorite style that college women selected among them after seeing 3 photos of straight hair style was indicated as medium style, and medium style was also indicated to be preferred most in case of 3 photos of colored wave. The most favorite style that college women selected among them after seeing 6 photos of colored straight and wave style was indicated as colored medium style.<BR> As a result of grasping the difference between preference for colored hair style and self-efficacy, in case of straight hair, it showed significant difference with self-efficacy according to preference for hair style, and sub fields of self-efficacy showed significant difference with social self-efficacy. In addition, in case of colored wave hair style, as a result of observing the difference between preference for hair style and self-efficacy, it showed no significant difference, and sub fields of self-efficacy also showed no significant difference.
