A Study on the Chinese Tang Dynasty women Make up Culture

&nbsp;&nbsp;The oriental makeup culture usually refers to northeast makeup culture such as Chinese, Japanese and Korean&quot;s. Among them, Chinese makeup gave us diverse and abundant ideas that are hardly found in modern times. Although there are many differences between Western and Oriental makeup culture, Oriental makeup culture is very unique and practical as stage makeup today and is well recognized as beauty makeup in daily life.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;In Tang dynasty, one of bordering countries that much influenced to Korea in social and cultural aspects, it was prosperous without being invaded by other countries during some periods and this stability in life made it possible to result in the most brilliant women&quot;s decoration in Chines history. This security also originated in the splendid results of women&quot;s clothes and makeup culture. This formed women&quot;s diverse makeup in Tang Dynasty and becomes very important material of oriental makeup these days.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;The purpose of this thesis is to classify makeup as skin makeup, eyebrow makeup, forehead makeup, cheek makeup, lips makeup according to women&quot;s makeup order in Tang Dynasty, and to deal with each features and expressed methods.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;The second purpose of this thesis is to analyze the beauty of women body&quot;s decoration and arrange the field of oriental makeup through considering those day&quot;s original models and makeup culture in Tang Dynasty.
