영구염모제에 의한 모발 염색시에 앰플 처리가 모발의 착색도 및 모표피의 형태학적 변화에 미치는 효과를 측정한 결과는 다음과 같다.<BR> 1. Red 계열 염색의 경우, 앰플을 도포하지 않은 군의 a*값은 앰플을 도포한 군보다 높았고, 앰플을 도포한 군 중에는 염색 후 앰플도포한 군이 염색 전 앰플도포한 군 또는 염색 전후 중복하여 앰플도포한 군보다 a* 값이 높게 나타났다.<BR> 2. 모표피 보호효과의 경우, 앰플도포한 군이앰플을 도포하지 않은 군보다 높게 나타났고, 앰플을 도포한 시기에 따른 모표피의 보호효과는 염색 전후 중복도포, 염색 전 도포, 염색 후 도포의 순으로 나타났다.<BR> 3. 모발강도의 경우, 어떠한 방법으로 앰플도 포하더라도 염색한 모발은 염색하지 않는 모발에 비해 강도가 낮게 나타났으며, 앰플투여시기에 따른 모발강도의 차이에는 특별한 경향이 나타나지 않았다.<BR> 4. 모발신도의 경우, 염색시 앰플을 도포하여 염색한 군이 앰플을 도포하지 않고 염색한 군에 비해 다소 낮게 나타났다.<BR> 이러한 결과를 종합하면, 영구염모제로 모발을 염색할 때 모발의 착색도, 모발 보호효과, 모발의 강도 및 모발의 신도 등을 고려한 최적의 앰플도포 시기는 염색 전 도포인 것으로 나타났다.
This study was conducted to evaluate the protective effects of ample application on permanent hair coloring. Changes of coloring intensity, the tensile strength and morphological property in permanent dyed-hairs were determined by colorimeter(Hunter value, L*, a*, b*), Instron and Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope(SEM) according to ample application.<BR> 1. In permanent hair red coloring, a* value of hair coloring without ample treatment was higher than that of hair coloring with ample treatment. Among hair coloring with ample treatment, "a" value of hair coloring with ample treatment after hair-dye was higher than that of hair coloring with ample treatment before hair-dye or hair coloring with ample treatment before or after hair-dye.<BR> 2. Hair coloring with ample treatment showed the higher protective effect on hair cuticle than hair coloring without ample treatment. The protective effect of hair coloring by ample treatment was the greatest in pre- and post-application of ample, followed by pre-application of ample, post-application of ample, in descending order. Additionally, among three different ample treatments, there was not big differences in the protective effects on hair cuticle according to concentration of ample application.<BR> 3. The tensile strength of permanent hair coloring was lower than that of non-permanent coloring hair irrespective of ample application. Additionally, there was not significant differences in the tensile strength of permanent hair coloring according to the time and concentration of ample application.<BR> 4. The extensive strength of permanent hair coloring with ample treatment was somewhat lower than that of hair coloring without ample treatment. Additionally, there was no big differences in the extensive strength according to the concentration of ample application.<BR> On the base of these results, pre-treatment of ample in permanent hair coloring is the best method for use of ample.
